Intellisafe is a set of systems designed to make the Volvo experience more enjoyable and safer than ever. These tools are divided into 6 main categories:

The Adaptive Cruise Control

Adaptive Cruise Control (Adaptive Cruise Control) helps maintain a safe distance between your Volvo and the vehicle ahead. This tool selects a constant speed and pre-sets a time interval to the vehicle in front. A radar detects the vehicle slowdown in front of you and adjusts the speed of your Volvo accordingly. And once the driver that precedes us clears the track, the vehicle speed returns to the pre-selected speed.

The 360 ° camera

The 360 ° camera shows us an aerial view of our Volvo and gives us an overview of everything around the vehicle. This helps us to detect potential obstacles and makes parking easier.

Active control of main-beam headlamps
The active high beam control (AHB) locates other road users such as pedestrians, cyclists and other motorists and adjusts the headlight brightness accordingly.

Semi-automatic parking assistance

The semi-automatic parking assist manages the steering of the car once immobilized near the desired parking space. It is then enough to release the steering wheel and let the vehicle perform the necessary maneuvers. Your Volvo will simply tell you when to brake.

Anti-blind spot monitoring

Anti-blind spot monitoring is a device that alerts you when a vehicle is in your blind spot. When the radar sensor detects a vehicle, an indicator lights up. So you are always aware of the vehicles around you.

Active Line Crossing Alert

The Active Line Warning detects our alignment with the white lines of the road. When the vehicle moves away from the center of the track and touches the white line, the device corrects the trajectory and helps to stay on the initial track in addition to vibrating the steering wheel to help the driver stay alert.
