This new model will replace the V60 which was an incredible success for Volvo since 2010.

Volvo has done much for the official presentation of the new 2019 V60. On Wednesday, February 21st, 2018, it was first unveiled as a world premiere in Gödeborg, Sweden, before heading to Switzerland for the Geneva Auto Show.

Indeed, this official presentation will take place in the margins of the next Geneva Motor Show 2018. It will take place from March 8th to 18th, 2018 and the 2019 Volvo V60 will certainly be one of the biggest attractions!

Offered in hybrid and / or electric version
This was one of the first questions during the presentation, will this 2019 Volvo V60 be a plug-in hybrid or not? Well, yeah! It will even have not one but two hybrid engines! The first is the T8 twin-engine. Already available on the 2018 XC60, the 2018 XC90 and the 2018 S90.
What's new is the second engine proposed: the T6 Twin engine! A first for Volvo who continues on its way to the 100% electric orrechargeable hybrid. By combining electric motor and gasoline, the T6 should provide a total of 340 horsepower. However, we do not know whether or not this engine will be available in Canada.
Thanks to this hybrid powertrain, you'll also be able to drive the new 2019 Volvo V60 with 100% electric power.

The details on the range proposed by the two hybrid engines have not been announced so far, we will keep you informed.

Volvo announced the prices for this new 2019 Volvo V60.
This 2019 Volvo V60 will be available starting at $44,900 in its Momentum version equipped with the T5 engine and starting at $55,400 for the Inscription version, only available with the T6 engine.
These prices do not include transport, taxes and preparation.
